About
Being born with ocular albinism and nystagmus, Tyler's picked up a keen ear for the minute details in sound which have always fascinated and excited them. As soon as they heard these details being elevated by accompanying images in film and TV, they knew sound recording for any visual medium was something they wanted to pursue.

Their years of studying Location Sound Recording at the National Film and Television School (NFTS) and passion for sound have lead to their efforts being recognised when they were delighted to be nominated for best sound at the 48 Hour Film Competition - Edinburgh 2021.

Tyler loves everything and anything that can make a sound, as well as trying to best capture it. Reliable, resourceful, and a great listener. It's very rare you'll find them without a pair of headphones.
